Honeygar serves as a powerful example of how we’re applying these principles to support nature’s recovery across Somerset. The Lawton Principles: Bigger – Expanding the size of sites managed for wildlife to grow the Nature Recovery Network. Better – Supporting landowners to improve land management for wildlife and people, with research showing measurable improvements in habitat quality year on year. More Joined Up – Connecting protected areas to create a more continuous and diverse range of habitats. Together, these principles help us create a landscape where wildlife can thrive and communities can reconnect with nature. Weird in the Womb is a student-led short documentary about endometriosis. Created by a crew of seven final-year film students, Weird in the Womb uses personal storytelling, abstract visuals, animation, and a candid group discussion to shed light on a condition that affects 1 in 10 women worldwide, yet remains deeply misunderstood, under-researched, and often dismissed. This documentary goes beyond medical facts to explore the emotional and physical toll endometriosis can have. It also looks back at the historical treatment of women’s health, from ancient myths like the ‘wandering womb’ to the legacy of ‘female hysteria’, to understand how these outdated ideas continue to influence the way women's pain is perceived today. Weird in the Womb aims to break stigma, amplify voices, and spark conversation around a topic too often left in the shadows. -------------------------------------------- Thank you for watching.
